About this Piece:
This stout mushroom fellow is created using spun cotton over a wire armature. The finish is acrylics and various washes. The little nose is spun cotton and hand sewn. The collar is made of ruffled crepe paper and he holds a tiny sisal tree in a pot. The happy mushroom rests atop a mossy-cotton over wood base, trimmed in Dresden foil. There is also lichen on the base.
